MY REVIEW
I am loving this series so much!
McEwen sure knows to give her readers the best kind of stories!
From book one I immediately made myself right at home in Shelter Creek, Ca. I was very happy to return in this book.
I was delighted to discover that the group of ladies who called themselves the Book Biddies were back! They tickled me from the very beginning of this series and in my opinion this series wouldn't very good without them.
I very much enjoyed learning about the wildlife reservation that Trisha worked at. It reminds me of a tv series on Saturday mornings where they treat the animals and then if they're able to they turn them back into the wild. I fell in love with a certain rabbit called Peanut.
I think that was my favorite part of the book.
The only thing that I didn't really like was that I thought that Trisha was kind of hard on Liam at first but I guess that's to expected but still...…. you know?
Trust is a very big issue in this story. I thought the author handled that subject very well. Trust is certainly hard especially if you feel you've been wronged. But isn't that where forgiveness and grace comes in?
Several things that I noticed is that Liam and Trisha seemed to have a few things in common.
While Trisha was ok I thought Liam was even better.
I think everyone deserves a second chance even Liam. I found myself cheering him on throughout the story.
We all deserve second chances don't we?
The author has done her job well because my heart is full and satisfied
My thanks to the author/Netgalley for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review and all opinions are my own.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Claire McEwen lives by the ocean in Northern California with her family and a scruffy, mischievous terrier. When not dreaming up new stories, she can be found digging in her garden with a lot of enthusiasm but, unfortunately, no green thumb. She loves discovering flea-market treasures, walking on the beach, dancing, traveling and reading, of course!
