Chef Chris Evanson offers work experience to young men from Youth Connect. Cassie and Chris's encounters become more than sassy bantering with a hint of attraction. Chris is a sincere romantic.

How will Chris respond when he finds out her secret? She must tell him before he falls in love. Will he believe she deserves more than a second chance?

To complicate matters, one of Youth Connect's troubled teens needs rescuing. She's pregnant and moves in with Cassie, bringing absolute chaos. Chris gains insight into what life with Cassie involves. Does he still want the total package? Is he Cassie's true soul mate?

MY REVIEW

I gave this book 5 stars!!
One is I loved loved the setting!! I've always wanted to go to Australia. This book allowed me to do that and I got to meet some awesome characters along the way.
Cassie, Melissa,and Chris.
I think the thing I most enjoyed was just what the book suggested Second chances.
We are all flawed and I liked the way the author has portrayed these characters because there are some in real life that do have problems especially drug problems.
I like that there are support groups to offer people a source of hope.
I love the love and support that Cassie gives.
I love the way this book offers hope at the end of a long dark tunnel. Forgiveness is offered too. Sometimes that's hard to do. Especially when someone wrongs us. Jesus said that in order to be Christ like we must forgive as He's forgiven us. It's to make peace with ourselves.
I am a secret keeper myself. I have kept other people's secrets and there's times and I hate it. I felt like young Sheldon when his dad asked him to keep a secret from his mom. Secrets aren't good. They have a way of leaking out sooner or later. In end someone is going to get hurt. This is where forgiveness comes in. It takes divine intervention to help us through.
I loved Cassie and Chris too. I felt like they were my best friends and I hated to say goodbye. I'm going to reread this again in the future.
I strongly recommend this book. This book rolled with me. My emotions were all over the place.
My thanks for a copy of this book. NO compensations were received and all opinions are my own
